Wow, I've been out shoeing horses all day in this miserable, blustery, snowy-that-doesn't-leave-snow, miserable day! And to come home to this...WOW!! Thanks alot, Amanda!

Ok, my answers:

1. Aside from scrapbooking, what creative outlets do you have?

I used to have all sorts of hobbies, but especially loved needle crafts, hand quilting, cross-stitch and sewing. But since becoming a farrier it has left my hands so rough I rarely do those anymore. Which is why I love digi-scrapping so much! Dirt on the keyboard doesn't rub off on my layouts!

2. What is your favorite thing to wear?

My jammies!!!

3. What is your least favorite household chore?

hmmm, there are sooo many ; )) I guess it would have to be dusting because with 4 dogs, 5 cats and 3 humans with a woodstove when I do dust, you can't tell it 2 hours later!

4. Share your "designer story". How did you get started?

August 2006 I sprained my ankle very badly, tearing the ligaments which meant I was laid up in bed for 8 weeks. I don't make a good patient so I figured I'd use the time to get caught up on some scrapping. Have you ever tried to sit up a container of glue on a bed?? Or keep paper scrapping supplies from sliding off a bed?? It doesn't work. So I quit and started playing on my new laptop in PSE.

I'd been a web designer in what seemed another lifetime so I knew PS and so I began playing around with some web graphics. One day I went to open the program and upon mousing over the welcome graphic, on the Start From Scratch button, a scrap page appeared. DUH!!!!! I had everything I needed, neatly, right in front of me to do the scrapping I wanted to do and in a format much more familiar to me than paper stuff. I'd done a whole 1 whopping paper page in my past to satisfy my Creative Memories consultant sister and hated it.

I began googling computer scrapping and the rest is history. I made a freebie I offered here at DST and was asked to design for a store within 3 weeks of starting digi.

5. Who is YOUR favorite designer right now?

Man, this is one of those questions that you hate to answer because you know good and well you're gonna leave out someone, so I'll just list 3!! I love CRD, Rina Kroes, and SP!!

Hmm, my fav layout is one I had to upload to answer this! It's not got much digi-scrapping to it, but it's a rare moment in my 15 yr old dd's life where she was smiling ; )))
