? about copyrights...

My family is publishing a cookbook, not for profit, but just to enjoy. I would like to customize it with photos & digi elements but am concerned about copyright protection, etc. Can someone tell me if I can use free digi downloads for this purpose? I just dabble in digi scrapping so I have no clue about where I can use things. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

You may want to contact the designers of the elements you are using. Be sure to read the Tou. I did a cookbook for all the girls in the family with my grandmoms recipes. I contact the few designers I used and they had no problem with it as long as I was not selling it.

I think that would fall under Personal Use for many designers, but just check to be sure (as suggested). As for my stuff...you'd totally be okay.
