View Full Version : Question for those of you who are in the S4O industry...

Hi there all, just a quick question for those of you who scrap 4 others, are you more apt to purchase paper packs as oppose to full kits that are S4O friendly? I'm just curious, I'm turning all my kits S4O friendly and was wondering what most of you purchase on a regular basis-full kits/paperpaks/embellishments?

I think that will vary from scrapper to scrapper... I scrap the same way for others as I do for myself. If I want the entire kit, I buy the kit package, but I like having the option of only buying the papers or elements. It just depends on what I need at the time!

I really appreciate it when designers offers separate packages for papers and elements. If I like/need both, I'll buy both. Or just one depending on my needs at the time. There are many beautiful "all-in-one" kits out there that I won't buy because I just don't need all the stuff in them. It's really a shame because the designer loses a sale and I lose the chance to use some great supplies in my work. Does that make sense?

I prefer the choice as well. As addicted as I am to paper, part of my marketing strategy is to customize the pages to the clients photos so I really need to buy more element packs than papers. But really well made kits are irresistible...I love it when I have a complete package of coordinating papers and elements. So I don't have a preference except to have a choice between the whole package or separate set of papers/elements. And as a pro-scrapper, great word art is the best since you don't always get much in the way of titles/captions/stories and a great quote can really add to the text aspect of those kinds of pages!

I like to have a choice ... I rarely need full kits so I love the option of paper packs.

I guess that settles it, I'm gonna be offering them in seperates as well as full kits then. The majority wins lol. Thanks all for your opinions it's greatly appreciated!

I am much more likely to buy a kit than just paper...but paper with matching elements separately is fine too.
