So much fun!!!
1. Aside from scrapbooking, what creative outlets do you have?
Creative outlets...hmmmm....my photography is most for scrapping, so I won't count that. I find that my teaching is a creative outlet because it requires me to be flexible and change up my examples and exercises. Changes sides of the brain I think. But it really feeds me. Hobbies I have are camping, and hiking, as well other outdoor activities.
2. What is your favorite thing to wear? I have a pair of Old Navy yoga pants that I adore and wear just about every weekend, with a long t-shirt. But if I'm heading out, I love my jeans and a nice sweater.
3. What is your least favorite household chore? Cleaning the toilet. That's hubby's job.
4. Share your "designer story". How did you get started? Well, I had done some graphic design in CorelDraw at my work many moons ago, and I loved that I could actually create something artistic with a computer. It was like a fresh box of crayons everytime. Then I designed my own wedding invitations, and wanted to do my Thank You cards. I searched for some pretty patterns and stumbled across Rina's Poppies kit. I downloaded and played with it. Then on another board I was a siggy maker for friends, and I noticed some that looked like scrapbooks, so I gave scrapbooking a try. There was a designer there who invited me to a small store where she sold. Started off on some CTs a little while later, did some freebies, and then the store owner suggested I try designing. I've been addicted ever since.
5. Who is YOUR favorite designer right now? Oh there are too many. Miki Ferkul is so original. I love how she makes the coolest elements. And Kristin Cronin-Barrow has amazing kits. I love too many! Jennilyn, Hollie, Betsy, Flergs - I can't pin it down to one person, but Miki takes up the biggest part of my hard drive.
