HELP!! My PSCS has a mind of it's own!!

Okay, I'm getting a tad frustrated with my PSCS, it apparently has a mind of it's own. The functions like Copy, Cut, Paste, etc... (your basic functions) won't work all the time. :evil: I was trying to make something the other day and every time I hit cut after making the selection it was like nothing happened. I tried it over and over again and even started fresh thinking maybe it was just a glich. I bought some awesome new actions yesterday from Atomic Cupcake and now they won't work for me, aarrgghh!! They pop up messages when I try to run them like "The Copy function is not available" but then two minutes later I was copying fine while making a layout. It stinks!! Any ideas of what might have happened?

--some Actomic Cupcake actions require that a selection be made 1st before playing the action. I've forgotten to select (marching ants) a couple of times....a couple of times I had the correct selection, but the wrong layer selected which didn't have any pixels in my selection.

--If there are no pixels in the selection in the layer you have hi-lighted...you will get an error message.

Sometimes I don't realize that I don't have the correct layer selected or that I've forgotten to make a selection (marching ants) until an error message pops up lol.

Also, re: cutting. I've had that happened to. I haven't exactly pinned down what *I* was doing wrong, but I think in some instances it had to do w/mask and the background/foreground color I had selected. Don't ask me why...that's my conclusion from the funnies I've run into.

I had the item selected that I wanted to use the actions on so I'm kinda clueless what happened with them :( I even tried it with and without background layers just to make sure and still didn't work :roll: I need to go back and try some of my beloved actions and see if they mess up now I suppose.

Did you have 'marching ants' around it?
