Debbie needed help this week, so I thought I'd jump in and help.. Hope you all dont mind :)

I will, if you need someone I have an assignment that I am working on right now..

Lines..... Get out there and find lines that lead. A line that leads starts at one side of the photo and leads it out of the photo. It draws your eyes to wanting more.

Here are a couple of examples..
http://www.flickr.com/photos/88695976@N00/229771683/
(makes me want to know what she is looking at)

One of my favorites from Flickr... (Not Mine)
http://www.flickr.com/photos/cuellar/164074507/

Another fave (Not Mine)
http://www.flickr.com/photos/partyof5/167069353/

Also everyone that completes will get something fun (maybe a freebie, maybe an action :)

Due Oct 1st :)

I took this photo a couple of weeks ago,but you could see both ends in it. When I cropped it in Photoshop,it sure got more exiting!
Great challenge!

No definitely not! LOL! At least not in my opinion, the way you cropped it now is more interesting. I think if you would have cropped in too closely you would lose your nice 3/3 grid. You have the top 2 thirds of the photo filled with your subject, if you would have cropped more he would be more in the middle of photo. It looks great as it is!

Great photo, I am going to give cc to all :) Oh goodie hehe.. I really like this photo, but its screaming for a tilt. Is this a sooc crop (straight out of the camara) I would of liked to see just alittle more space above his head..

I hope you dont mind, but I played with your photo.. If you want me to take it down, just let me know :) With this crop, it gives me the feeling I am waiting in line right behind him to go down the slide..

Great photo Jenn... Only 1 main cc, and that would of like to see her looking down that line (bridge) so I felt she was leading me to the other end.

Thanks Michelle! LOL!!! Believe it or not I tried to get her to look up and down the pier and I would have been happy with either but.....she wasn't having any of that!!!!!! I just took shots candidly, she wouldn't even do a "natural" pose for me or look any direction I told her too. She's just too stubborn!!!! I think it's easier to boss around kids that don't belong to you. Tried taking some other photos of her sitting on a tree stump looking down at the ground and over her shoulder toward the lake..I was just lucky to get what I got! Does anyone else have that much trouble?? Hehe.

It's not a typical leading line photo, but I love it nonetheless. I adore how he's looking straight into the camera. I love how the stadium chairs lead you to AND from him. Sigh...I just love this photo.

OK...I used my brand new Nikon D50 for the very first time tonight...LOVE IT! So, as I am shooting away I thought about this challenge. While it isn't probably what you are looking for as a leading line...it does have a contrail line and it drew me in enough to take the pic. Did I mention how much I LOVE MY NEW NIKON D50!

Yay, this is my first time doing a photo challenge...I'm so inspired already! Love everybody's pics. I looked through my photos and I realize I have many where the line leads you INTO the photo, but not many that it leads you out :). Here are two I found (these also would have worked for the last challenge about Fall photos):

Awesome photos everyone! Jess, I loooove your autumn shots. Here is mine from our apple picking trip a few days ago...just a dirt road. I thought it made for a cool abstract composition.

This one is laughable but I just can't resist ;-)
I was trying to get a shot of our horse Dakota licking his salt block, however he wasn't co-operating with me and moved his head behind the chicken coop so this is all I got. Does it make you want to see the rest of the horse? LOL

Here's DD on her first day of first grade. I sort of planned this in my head, but I was surprised how great it turned out with the sidewalk. I did a mini-book of her first day of school and this was the last page...her walking off to all day school and more independence from me. <sniff>
