Here's what happened:
For whatever reason, it was not coordinated to get all the seniors together and get one big group shot before they all left this year of the ROTC cadets to be commissioned. So now we have a group shot from each of the schools. DH asked me to make a collage type layout for them. I did one that looks like a story board. I spent 3.5 hours total editing photos and working up 4 proofs in an 8x10 size for them to look at.

I e-mailed DH the low res story boards for approval. He said for me to burn the images to CD, get a print made, and bill them.

I'm not sure what to bill them. I'm thinking $25 per hour for the editing and story boards becuase they're getting the CD and I'll never see any print profits. Is this a fair estimate or am I off my rocker?

Thank you Kaylaugh. Now to explain that to the Army LOL plus CD and print cost for the one print they want and no one wants to pick up from one of our one hour labs.

$25/hour sounds fair and I would tack on printing and even delivery charges if it's far away.

I did it. I did the invoice and dropped everything off yesterday. I did the print at cost and no delivery charge since I was in the area anyway. Believe it or not, our Walmart does a nice job with prints when you need a 1 hour job, so I told DH next time I'll send it in online and one of them can take 10 min and go get the print.

This is my first official project of any kind so that was cool. I would've done it for free for the practice, but they told me to make up an invoice and charge them. You don't have to tell me twice. It was really cool to see their reaction too.
