I go to the convention every year & buy paper supplies & tools. I have several unopened packages of stuff that I just 'had to have'. I always go back to my digital pages though.
DS painted his room this week & when he finishes the cleanup detail, then I'll pick out my paint so I can paint my computer/scrapping room.
I want to set up a place where I can get messy if I want to! Goodness knows I've got enough glitter & dry embossing supplies to make a mess!
I went to GASC last weekend & saw the Cricut machine that cuts out letters. I would have loved that when I was trying to cut them out with scissors!!!
I also saw the ScrapRack for organizing. It was so cool!
I always feel like being a paper scrapper when I come back from the conventions!

You know what's funny? I never paper scrapped. Yet when I go to craft stores and see all the cool gadgets, my hands start itching to play with them!
I tried rubber stamping with Stamp It Up! products. I liked it alot, but I just couldn't fathom getting out all my stuff and making a big ol' mess for a measly card or giftbag. That's about all I got around to making too! And it would take me forever to figure out a design on a simple card. So when I did one that I actually liked, I ended up doing 5-10 of the same design. LOL

So I'll take digi anyday!!! It's so much easier for me!

Know of anyone who wants over $500 worth of stamps? :?

LOL, I, too, "miss" it when I see paper and stamps and stuff...but then I look at my giant bin full of paper scrapping stuff...and I praise God I found a hobby that I don't have to make a mess with. :)

I miss mine too! Occasional I indulge with all my old supplies, but reality sets in when I go to a paper scrapping site and remember how expensive it all is. Haha.

I thought that I did until I went to the last convention with a friend of mine. I brought my laptop and had everything my heart desired at my fingertips (with no mess) while she sat SURROUNDED by just a small portion of her bulky supplies. I can't believe I ever paper scrapped. The only thing that would make me go back is if DD picked up the hobby. I can't very well teach a toddler to use Photoshop. Or could I....

It might be a bit early to teach PS but I can tell you that my 12 yo uses it!! And is even posting online now too!! I still have all my paper stuff cause I get the urges once in awhile to use them...the funny part is that the urges disappear as soon as I start to pull the stuff out and realize the mess I will have to clean up!!

I might know someone from my mommy board who recently got into stamping. Do you have a list of what you want to sell?

I don't miss the mess of paper scrapping and neither does DH! He REALLY hated it and that meant that I never really scrapped unless I went to a crop. I am loving digital and I can't wait to learn more!

I really don't miss paper at all for scrapping. I do like to get my hands dirty though. Every so often I'll have to get some hands on craft time, cards, collage, paint, thread whatever strikes my fancy at the moment. I always have fun but it does make me appreciate the "magic" of digital, no mess and that wonderful "CTR/ALT/DEL".

I used to sell rubber stamps through a company called The Angel Company. (kinda like SU!) and i just got one of their brand new catalogs that came out and i was like "wow, i wish i was still stamping!!" lol but right now, i know i cant afford it.

i need to get busy on selling off the rest of my stamps. if any of you are stampers PM me and i will let you know when i have everything up for sale.

My 4 year old uses PhotoShop. He can use the color picker to choose his paint color, then chooses his brush and opens a new canvas to paint a picture. He loves using the Wacom tablet, especially. That's about as far as I've let him go with it, though I bet he could pick up on quickly if I took the time to teach him.

I miss MINE too but cuz of my two yr old who won't unleash himself from my leg, I had to go digital. I loveeeeeeeeee digital but boy do I miss playing with my hand-tearing, stamping, glueing.
I have 5 years worth of supplies all put in boxes away until We are able to move to a house and I get a room to myself for scrapping, the I can be a true bi-scrapper. Miss it, thank god for digi-scrapping, otherwise I'd go insane!

I consider myself brscraptual. I usually scrap paper once a month with friends at a scrap night. (We rotate who hosts.) The last few months, it has been at my house, but next time, it will be somewhere else. I REALLY dread dragging all of my scrap crap around.

I think next time I will just take my laptop and my Wacom tablet and scrap digitally. (Plus, no one can borrow or break my tools that way! LOL!)

I miss paper scrapbooking, too. That is why I can't bring myself to get rid of all my supplies. I generally still use them to create little albums. Shabby Princess does fabulous little books that mix digital and Paper supplies!

I actually do miss it- i paper scrapped for over 5 years, always did some sort of craft so I'm a tactile person.
However I just sold my house moved into a 2 bedrooom apartment while we make arrangments to move across country and so I've packed everything away and it's in storage.

I'm purely digital for now.

I'm biscrapual ( I love that term!). since the beginning of the year, I've gone back and forth. lots of paper then lots of digi. lol if you check my gallery, you can tell! although, I think my digi stuff is way better than my paper stuff! I do love doing altered items tho...paper bag gift albums and altered cigar boxes are a great gift!
