Does anyone use font creator?

I have a problem with my font creator 5.5. When I make a font, I include all specialty characters like commas, apostrophes, etc...

They show up just fine when I test my font in Font Creator. However, when I use them in Word and Photoshop, I can't see the apostrophe, # sign, $ % & etc...

Does anyone know why this is happening?
