:lol2 Dianne I can just see you hovering over your family's plates. "You're not gonna eat all that are you? No, you're done. Here, have some dessert. You don't want this yucky ol' lasagna. I'll just save that for later."

So glad to hear you like them, Di! I actually won a set at the IOD chat last Thursday night, so mine should be coming soon. Can't wait to use them. By the way, somebody please tell me how to pronounce "Trouve". I'm guessing it's French? Is that "true-vA" or "true-va" or what? I was telling someone about it today and didn't know how to say it. Duh.

It's pronounced true-vey...I think it means to find???

Yep, just store it in the oven... and then preheat. That would do it.
Josie said that she & a friend came up with the idea for the Trouve & this is another business. Cool, huh?
And yes - trouve - means 'found' (as opposed to lost - for the lids.. I suppose?)

Awe, thanks girls! This thread made my day. I'm so glad you like it dianne and shannon! It's such a cool thing to have such a supportive group of women, both in scrapping and other stuff!
I haven't made the official announcement, which i will be putting on our blog, but theres a big fat drawing coming up. That's all i'll say for now, in chatter, but keep your ears to the ground. ;)
hugs!

Thanks shan!
IOD is iron orchid designs, sally and I are sisters and it's our design duo, at scrapartist. :)
Square is our next step, but it will be just a little while to build up the company in order to take the plunge for new molds, but yes, that is a priority, thank you so much for the feedback, cuz it just confirms that we need to get those squares done! oh, and yes, they are freezer safe, microwave and dishwasher too (there's care instructions on the site, and in the brochure that comes with them) AND, they have a lid loss guarantee, so that if you lose a lid, we will send you a new one.
Um, erin dear, that is SQUEEZE cheese. I'm really a little disappointed, you would think that we hadn't graduated at the top of our culinary class together. Really. ;) Next you will be calling spam ham. sheesh.
OK, DO NOT buy them yet! LOL, because if you are gonna buy them you wanna do it between october 15- november 15th, when it will qualify you for an exclusive dst member drawing, where you can win a major prize, like talking nikon digital camera, or epson r1800, and more (not to mention that it's a fund raiser for dst). So, like i said, keep your ear to the ground, and the details will be on the blog soon.

Wow, is my face red! Actually, I knew that...I was just testing YOU, Josie. I needed to make sure you're still in touch with your cheese-in-a-can roots. And who, exactly, is feeding you this nonsense that spam is not ham???

:lol3 Erin! SQUEEZE CHEESE and hot dogs? That is revolting!
I used my trouve tonight! I chopped up some fresh canteloupe and afterward I thought "Well I may as well organize my tupperware cupboard. Check it out. I have more storage containers and a wider variety of sizes with trouve (12 containers total, 3 different sizes) AND my cupboard is way more organized! I threw all the old stuff out! :lol This stuff is awesome Josie!!

OMG! You made a pregnant gal all happy and giddy with the thought of Mac & Cheese and cut up hotdogs. And then I looked closer and read what Josie wrote and what I feared was true. Canned squeeze cheese and hotdogs! Oh my word. Not even I would venture into that territory.
And I will be purchasing a few sets. My hubby also hates the whole lost lid thing we have going on at my homestead. I'll be awaitin' with CC in hand for the 15th! :) Momma needs some new plastic ware. ;)
Sad what I have become excited over. It was once the finer things in life. Now it is kitchen gear and mac & cheese and hot dogs. ;)

:yup Stephanie! I love when I get a new toothbrush holder or bathmat for the bathroom. And the day I bought a side table with a lamp ATTACHED to it. Oh my word....it was like my birthday. :lol

i've been eyeing these for awhile. I think i may have to say happy birthday to me and bite the bullet on the 15th.
Josie, am i right that you can pick any 4 sizes to get the deal?
Well, they come in a set of three sizes, nested all together, so one set is comprised of 2.25 Cups, 5.5 Cups, and 12 Cups. Like, in shannons picture, you only see three containers, but it's because they are nested. So in four sets, there are 4 small, 4 medium and 4 large when you buy the four set deal. Does that help?
I am so glad you girls love them so much. It really makes me giddy cuz during the whole process, over the last 4 years, it's been some hard work, but I've felt this need to do it, and it's like i just knew that other women would 'get it', you know, understand.
And Erin, I shoulda known that was just a squeeze cheese pop quiz :p
Who's up for some hot dog gravy???

Omigosh, i was rolling when i read this- um, i accidentally wrote talking camera, when what i meant was, I'm talking about a camera, lol. Sorry about that!:duh

As I was reading thru the updated posts on this thread - I was chuckling to myself about what makes us happy (storage containers :) ) Josie & her friend hit the nail on the head! Now why didn't Joy Mangano think of this I ask? She must be slipping. Josie - have you checked with QVC - for your stint?
And the discussion about dh's being happy about it is too true! My dh likes when I buy Pampered Chef, because he enjoys using their products too - the kitchen shears are awesome. And when he saw my first digi-album from Shutterfly - he was like - this is the way to go. (and so I went..... and bought a new laptop! :lol ) This will be the same - when Josie's little pkg hits my house - I bet dh will say - why don't you get rid of that drawerful of mixed lids & containers. Wanna bet? ;)
