how to copy and paste into ps?

Can someone please tell me how to copy from a txt notepad doc. into ps?

(this is a question for a friend - I use psp and so I can't help her.......lol)

I have PSCS2 and I never tried that before, just did and ummmm IDK if it's possible. You have to use the text tool and type it in directly to PS. I could be wrong though.

I copy the text using CTRL+C and then paste onto my document in PS with the text tool selected and "blinking", using CTRL+V. Works for me all the time.

OMG I did not try clicking with the text tool first then pasting!!! You really do learn something everyday with Photoshop lol! Thanks girls!
