:p Hey everyone!
I've been looking into scrapping for hire a little bit. Still don't know too much about it, but it looks like fun! Wondering if any of you had a minute to tell me a little more about it...
Any info would be great! Thanks a lot :love

It can be fun, but it can also be frustrating!!
S4H is basically what it says on the tin, you are scrapping to make money or, possibly trading, ie, I will make a layout/album/calendar etc in exchange for babysitting. Or, you could do what I and so many others do and turn it into a business.
It has taken me over 18 months research prior to starting a business, from researching the legalities, prices, the type of client I am reaching out to, would it be worthwhile to offer a business of this sort in my geographical area the list goes on.
I have been scrapping for nearly 3 years, before I felt confident enough to turn my hobby into a business, scrapping for people outwith my family in exchange for money. I also started by S4O's on a first instance to gain recognition from my craft in the hope that friends and family would pass my name around. Then it progressed from there, starting small, making invitations, before I started to reach out to people requesting albums and brag books.
But at the end of the day, the fun side is the scrapping, the frustrating side is the business, advertising, accounts etc, everything that more or less is involved in a bricks and mortar business is in running a website or even just a small home business.
There are many threads in this S4H/S4O forum which you can sift through, but by all means throw some questions at us.

Thank you Cat, that was helpful! I'm far from getting started, but it helps to hear how others got started! I just have so much fun scrapping that I thought why not make money doing it. There's still more I need to learn about the programs I use before I even start thinking about making money doing it, but that's why I'm here! I've already learned quite a bit being in this forum! Thanks for your reply! Have a wonderful night!
