Okay, I think this might be the dumbest question that I've ever had to ask but I'm asking it because I don't want to do anything wrong and illegal! My husband is helping me put together a S4H website; I'm trying to pretty it up a bit. I was wondering if I have to get a Commercial License for a kit to make the website cute or can I just use a S4H friendly kit? I have no idea! When I read through some of the TOU's that I'm wanted to use they are kind of vague about the whole thing.
So, I'm asking all of you seasoned S4H pros out there if you could point me in the right direction!
Thanks!
I'm so embarrassed now! :blush

Glad to hear you read the TOU's. When they are vague the best thing to do is email the designer, explaining what you are doing and ask for permission. The designer my be inclined to say yes and my want a small credit printed on the site.

Keep a copy of the YES email for your records and protection.

Best of luck.

Definately shoot the designer an email as you say if its vague in the TOU then all you can do is ask if not just to put your mind at ease. Most designers would, I assume, be ok with it as long as you would credit them.

I had my site built for me, taking all that headache away, but I did want one of my layouts to showcase in the header, so I shot Emily Powers and Paislee Press a mail (since I used their Tutti Frutti collab) and both were happy for me to do so.

Thanks ladies for your quick response! I was thinking about doing that but I didn't want to nag them but I guess it is better to nag then to do something wrong, right?
Thanks again!

Most designers are very encouraging and supportive. And they would much rather answer an email than have their designs used incorrectly. :) Good luck!
