designer's money

Girls, please help, I am thinking of opening a store for Russian audience, there are some Rusian disigners that I would like to invite...but I don't know how much to offer ? 60% from the price of the product? more? or less? what's common fee?

I *think* the store usually gets 20%, plus the designer is required to contribute to a monthly or quarterly kit that is sold to cover the costs of the site.

I know more than one store that does 20% for the exclusive designers and 25% for the non-exclusive ones. :) (paypal fees covered by the store and required participation in the monthly mega)

each store is different, with their own contracts with designers. Meridith is pretty on the money, but you have to remember each is really different. My two stores could not be any more opposite from one another. If you are opening up a store you will want to consider the PayPal fees and the money to get a premiere|business account. You may also want to have the site built by a web designer, there are some great ones within the digi community. You may need a built in payment system, so here it depends on what you want to offer to your designers. I wish you the best of luck!! Can't wait to see the site :)
