For those of you that are asking that question....it's still there. It's just been revamped a bit.
We had a discussion in the designer forum and we've decided to have the freebies section now be a Member Giveaways forum. You will still find plenty of freebies in there! However now our designers will be posting their freebies in different sections.
If they're just giving something away at a chat or as their monthly sampler or just out of the kindness of their hearts on their blogs (etc...), you may find it in the Digital Store & Designer Announcements forum.
Or (and you'll probably start to see this more often) they may offer you a sample of their new kit and they'll post about that in the New Products section!
Did ya hear that? Many designers are planning to take on a "try before you buy" approach and will allow you to sample a bit of the kit before you buy! :clap You won't see it from every designer or for every kit because that shouldn't be necessary. But it is a great gesture on the part of these designers who have taken to heart some of the posts that say scrappers feel at a disadvantage!
Hopefully, this change will be great for scrappers and designers and will also help balance out the industry without being detrimental to anyone.
