just finished up a couple hours ago. I have been MIA since Saturday as I have been pounding the bricks ever since early Saturday morning.....

If anyone has called me out on any threads I'll likely not be responding b/c I'll never be able to wade through all the posts since Saturday morning and the list of PMs I am about to try and get through.

Welcome back, Jayne! All I've done here is post a few "Don't forget to Register" flyers and visit Berlin to hear Obama speak. There's really not much to debate with fellow expats. They all seem committed to Obama despite their healthy bank balances and generous compensation packages (I'm not one of the well-off - we came here on a German contract and get paid just like a German employee.)

ETA: I'm not suggesting that only those in lower income brackets are supporting Obama - it's just that some in my family have put forth their income as the only reason they won't vote for Obama. Though... I never really thought they had enough income to worry about a possible tax increase. Maybe they're just believing the hype?
