Okay, I want to get a head start on finding on this b/c little brother is due the first week in December. I want to do a picture with our newborn and big brother (3 years old) in matching outfits. Holiday would be great, but not necessary. Anyone know of a good online retailer that sells newborn to toddler matching boys clothes?

I always had good luck at The Children's Place for my girls. Good luck!

My girls were born right before Christmas and I got them the newborn dresses and they were still huge on them.

I wish you luck finding something...I would truly keep the babies clothing simple as the NB sizes are big. lol

I agree with the Childrens Place. They have a 50% clearance section and they have a 15% off coupon out there.

Thanks for the suggestions. I looked at Children's Place. I'll probably get something for my son there and just get a little red sleep and play for the baby. You're right the newborns always run big!

When I wanted matching newborn/2T stuff a few years ago, I found some at Babies R Us. Technically the toddler clothing was '36 month' size, but it seemed to run the same as 2T. They also had 48 mo. sizes. (Double check the sizing if you're interested--I can't remember for sure if 3T was like the 36 mo or 48 mo size.) Kohls also has a few shirts that they offer in both newborn and toddler sizes, IIRC.

Target is also really good once they get a bit older. I have tons of matching outfits for my daughter and my sister (who are 3 years apart), their kids sizes are 6 months to 5T

What about Old Navy? The only other thing that comes to mind is a children's specialty store, but those tend to be way too expensive.

I don't know about 'matching' but I am sure you could find plenty that would coordinate perfectly without making your baby look like a toddler and vice versa - if you go to a Carters store. They tend to have similar colors and themes straight through to the older kids, up to 5T. I'd be all over that if my new arrival wasn't a different sex than the previous three. ;)

If you go christmas colors, I would think they would match anyway right? Lands End, Strausberg Kids ($$$$) http://www.hannaandersson.com ($$$ youch! But I would have done it for the first christmas with my two). You could sew something. Or have something sewn in matching fabric. That might be your best bet.

Babies R Us carries toddler and newborn sizes in the same outfits. I know because I re-bought the same outfit when DS was a toddler without realizing it! LOL

I always had good luck at The Children's Place for my girls. Good luck!

I was going to suggest the same place. I found matching outfits for mine and there is a 7 year age difference between them.

Try Gymboree! We love it and the prices are actually fairly reasonable.
