CS4-Who's Got It and Who's Getting It

My upgrade arrived today and I'm just in awe of all the changes because I seriously didn't think there were that many changes. They've streamed lined the way things are done in CS4. Palettes are now called Panels and you can even make your own panel with the things you use most.

You'll love or hate the new layers until you get use to working with the new layers. (I had to go watch a tutorial because I couldn't figure it out right at first)

The biggest thing to me was being able to use 3D rotate and there are also the new 3D shapes. Here's a charm I made rotating in 3D

I am still waiting for mine.... I ordered it a little while ago with LR2 but it still has't come yet. LR2 has though.... I am nervous. I signed up for kelbytraining.com. I am a member of NAPP as well. I have been watching all of the tutorials and keeping an eye out for all of the changes. It looks like a complete overhaul this time around almost.

I didn't go extended this time. I didn't think I would be using the 3D rendering and the cost was too high. I didn't use the extended part of CS3 so I couldn't justify it for this upgrade...... your ornament looks cool though!

When I registered my software, Adobe gave me a choice of a gift and I chose Lynda.com for all the tutorials. I have it for 30 days and I might just take a monthly subscription now and then because the tutorials on CS4 were outstanding. I also belong to NAPP and watched their tutorials before deciding to upgrade. I bought for specific stuff but there is so much more then what they had tuts for that has been added or changed.

I ordered mine from academic superstore and it says it's backordered until early November. I'm crossing my fingers that it ships sooner. I can't wait!
