I would LOVE to go to downtown Chicago election night. I cannot even imagine the feel of the whole night, BUT have you ever been to downtown Chicago for any big event? UGH! It will take forever to get out of the city, it may be cold (I'm a whimp) and it will be crazy...crazy good :).

I'll be interested in how many people go down. Thet biggest crowd in Grant Park was for the Pope.

I don't even like going *through* Chicago when the Cubs/Sox/Bears are playing. Or when it's raining. Or rush hour.

Still, I bet it would be an amazing experience!

So you know what it's like LOL. Try rush hour when the White Sox are playing and Taste of Chicago is going on. Nightmare! I could take the train, but those will be mobbed too.

While I have been to Chitown many times I have never used the mass transit system...is that a viable option for you?

They've told every county and local cop to be on duty here and are urging people to vote and go home.

LOL Kelly. Turn on signatures people. Go to the darkside of them. It makes these threads much prettier.

We have a pretty "enthusiastic" I guess is the best way to say it population. The primaries got nasty on both sides. It was mostly church groups protesting each other too. It was ridiculous. They just only have so many cops to deal with a lot of stupid people if they try to act like that again.

I swear it used to be there. I have a blinkie and a link I had on there missing too. That's a little weird. I'll go fix it but I'm just barely barely moving on here. It needs to come on. I only have so much more time before the kiddies wake up then I have to go winterize the windows. Hooray!

Can't. I left avatars on and it's slower than molasses in the dead of winter. Signatures would just halt my computer completely.
