eta: PICS and a full story are up on my blog (http://lenabrandenburg.blogspot.com)! :)

concert!!! ChaChing! I cashed in on our battleground state status again...went to a "Road to Victory Rally" today to see Sarah Palin speak. Our tickets said that she spoke at noon. However my MIL (who watched the kids) said the news said 1 p.m.

Well we got there at 8:45, doors opened at 9:30 and finally at noon...she didn't come out...a few guys I didn't recognize came out and set up guitars, etc...then they announced that Tracy Lawrence would be singing! He sang Find Out Who Your Friends Are, If the World Had a Front Porch, and about 4 other songs.

I am not a follower of country music but have been quite exposed to it anyway (I don't dislike it, it's just not my music of choice) and even all of that being said, it was still REALLY cool and a great hour of entertainment before the rally.

I will post a FULL report tomorrow on my blog with lots of photos (thank God for 12x optical zoom) including one where it would appear John Boehner is copping a feelskie with the Caribou Barbie herself. LOL!

* oh, and I'm not interested in actually talking about any issues in my thread, just wanted to share my excitement over the free entertainment. Please don't flame me LOL!

You know, I just read that and I totally didn't mean that Boehner was manhandling Gov Palin LOL! He was hugging her after he introduced her and just the moment I snapped the photo, his hand is in a near-compromising position...I will watermark and put a copyright notice on it before I post it on my blog or I might find it in the National Enquirer with a racy title, LOL!
