Can it be done? I have a desktop computer with Windows ME and a Mac OS X....I'm just trying as hard as I can to dip my feet in the goodness of both worlds, and would like to have the computers share a common drive that way I don't have to transfer files (most likely digi scrapping stuff) manually.

It is no problem to network Windows and Mac. Mac is very easy and does most of the work for you. Windows XP was a but trickier but in the end we got it working right. If it will work with ME, I don't know.

You should be able to download an iDisk utility for PCs. At my work half our office is on MAC and half on PC. My unit has iDisk and thats how we share files with eachother, I'm pretty sure it will work, do you have a .MAC account with iDisk?
Here at home my hubby and I share a wireless connection, I'm on a MAC and he's on a PC. When I want to get something to his computer I load it up to my website in a zip file or something and download it on his laptop. Guess you could do that with YouSendIt or something if you don't have file space.
As for computer to computer networking, I'm not quite sure.
