iso: Adoption or Family Kits

I started digiscrapping in an effort to create a lifebook for my adopted son. I did it...but now a year later I HATE it! Ugh! Ugly, ugly, ugly! So, now that I know a little more I want to start over. I'm looking for an adoption specific kit, but if I can't find one I love, maybe just a "family" kit would do. I need a BIG kit...not just 10-12 elements as I plan on using one kit for the entire book. Also, if anyone knows of a template set for creating a large book that might be helpful too...I know Janet Phillips has one for scrapping a pregnancy...so something similar to that maybe...

Kim Hill just made some great adoption titles. They are going into SBB on the 30th I think. I actually have an asian themed adoption kit from about a year ago that would be perfect. I will try to find it on my external drive when I get home. Although I think I recall it being a charity kit so it might not be available anymore.

You might be thinking of Journey of the Heart which has an adoption add on and an Asian add on. Proceeds go to Love Without Boundaries.

hey, steph! remember me? and the kits i have in the works? from one adoptive mom to another, you can count on them being done within the next couple of months, i strive for perfection which is why they are taking longer than usual-- and one specifically for korean adoptees, it's hard to finish because it needs to be beyond perfect, but it will be done.

Kimberly, hi :)!! I've been working on one for the longest time.. the reason I got into design in the first place! I plan on a release date of January, it's just a struggle with the Korean Heritage Kit because they are first for my son who was adopted from South Korea.. so perfection is becoming a hindrance! I will complete them and get them in the stores soon! The general adoption kit is a collab and that will be released next month -- some beautiful things in them. AND, if you send me a PM I will RAK you both kits, I'd be honored.. from one adoptive mom to another! Your girls are ADORABLE and my goodness, your LO's each one more stunning than the next!

I have been looking for an adoption kit that is not baby themed. We took our daughter in when she 5, fought for her for a couple years then at age 7 the adoption was final. All the sweet lil baby kits just dont work for me. But for you, if your child was a baby when you got him, Faith Sisters has some cute kits.

As an adoptive mom to 1 and a half (second adoption in process!), I appreciate that this thread is still going.
