Hi!
I am sorry to hear that there was a bit of unrest over the weekend here in the digital section. It seems that the Terms of Use have been a troublesome spot, and have left a few questions in the air. We ask that you not post links or other store and site names on our message board. If you want to post a designer that you like, this is okay. Please refrain from posting a link or store name. (This is a change we are making effective now). In posting in the gallery, we would ask that you also refrain from posting the link when referencing the product you used. We realize that we can't moderate the whole message board, so a lot of things go unnoticed. We are at this time, moderating the board with a reactionary stance. We apologize for any frustration that this causes.
You may have noticed that we recently added a group of Garden Girls-- who we are actually making into a Digital Garden Girl Team with still one more spot open---I am really excited about this new team. We have a long list of plans that I think is really outstanding. We will soon have a whole new section, redesigned and with a lot to offer the digital scrapbooking community. I have listened to all the comments over the last year with suggestions about the digital section. It has taken me some time to actually make the plans go into effect, but we are only just beginning. Its going to be pretty cool. Please welcome them to the Garden Girl team and give them the opportunity to really show you what they can do. They are going to help us bring the digital section to where we all dream that it can be.
If you are interested in that one remaining Digital GG spot, you may send me an email at ggsub@twopeasinabucket.com. Please let me know what program you are using. Link me to your work and your designs. My process in selecting a GG includes reviewing a designer's work, projects, obligations, and board participation.
I am hoping that you will check out the new Digital Section when we go live this summer. We appreciate your support.
thank you
Kristina

Day late & a dollar short, IMO. We wanted this how many months ago and were told tough luck. Now that we've all left, it changes? No thanks.

And dangling another digital GG position out there?
Very clever strategy...

Yeah, I just got done reading it and have no idea what this means? Are blinkies allowed? Links to blogs? Will posts be deleted that mention other products? What if someone is looking for something in particular that 2Peas doesn't carry?
I think this is more of the same. SOOO glad Shannon got this group up and running when she did.

LOL I thought the exact same thing.
They think the big names are going to now stick around in *hopes* of that oh-so-famous GG title.
I for one though, care more about the people rather than the site. Why would any of us want to be a garden girl when we all disagree with how they run things? too funny

Wow. That answers NOTHING. We already KNEW we couldn't post links, fer cryin' out loud. In one sentence she says no links. In another she says no store names. WHAT IS IT??
Way to totally not respond to the problems, questions or issues. Way to just dangle more nebulous carrots in front of us with no tangible payoff. Way to further show us you couldn't care less.

We ask that you not post links or other store and site names on our message board.
I'm curious as to whether this is for the digi board only...or whether it is for the whole site.
That still leaves us (digi SBers), and ESPECIALLY the new digi SBers (which I was not so very long ago), attempting to interpret the shorthand we were forced to use when attempting to give clues as to where we found something...back to my original beef...What's the point of a message board if we can't get our message across?? HHHHEEEELLLLLLLLLLLLLOOOOO!

All I know is - one digital kit for $15 or 12 for $20. One site is about a large profit margin. Another just wants to raise enough funds to be a resource for the digital community. There is absolutely nothing wrong with a business being all about profit but if they aren't giving back to the community as well, it's hard to feel at home there. When I'm at 2peas, I feel like I'm in their house. I want to make this a place that belongs to all of us.

I think posting the message so that it can't have replies speaks volumes regarding how they feel about the digital board.

For all that writing, I didn't *hear* anything.
Talk about dodging the questions.

*WASSAT?*
*A CARROT?*
"IT'S A CARROT. IT'S A CARROT!! Me first!!"
Laughing out loud right now at myself for my cynicism. :)

Very interesting. New GG huh? Is that suppose to make us stay?
And how many times has this person been published? Have they won MMM or HOF? Seems to the what they REALLY look at.
Forget it!

cough...
Does she really think that addressed anything I've seen so far that people have been complaining about? No. Same old.
Maybe it will be great. I won't hold my breath. I liked 2peas because of the comraderie - if you guys are all over here - I lose nothing but the police at 2 peas.
I live in America - I don't like policing without reason. :-)

That is what I have to say about it. I couldn't agree more with everything that has been written above me here. I've had it.
Shannon, you're the best, girl! Thank you for making us a beautiful home to live at. I'm lovin' it already! :D :D :D

All this just reaffirms for me that I'm glad I never got into 2Peas in the first place... I mean, all the cool people hang out here now anyway, right?? LOL

Regarding the new Digital Garden Girl position that is conveniently open right now. When did 2Peas announce they were accepting applications for the most recent round of Garden Girls they appointed? I don't remember there being an announcement.

I just have to remember that the reason I got into digi scrapping was not to be "discovered" (although it sounds pretty sweet)--it was to be a life artist. Document my memories. So I don't make every CT, I don't get a whole lot of praise on a LO...not being the next GG--I have to put it into perspective. Why am I doing what I'm doing?
