How can I round to corners of my paper? I just can't figure it out. I'm using PSCS2.
TIA!

There's a shape under the under the custom shapes that's a rounded square. I think there's also one under the shape tool that is called rounded square and rounded rectangle. I use those. :D

Yes, I use my shape tool that has rounded corners to make a shape, then I hit CTRL+click on that layer in the layers pallette. It makes a selection of that. I then click on my layer of the paper and choose Select/Inverse and hit the delete key and get rid of my shaped layer.

What about for PS 7 .. that's my next technique to try!

You can do it exactly the same in PS7. The rounded rectangle tool is in your shapes tool. Just make sure that the fill pixels option is selected and you can adjust how round you want by entering a number in the box next the pixels.

Cool! I didnt know how to do that either. LOL!
I was using the circle marquee tool as a template to delete the edges of my photo or paper...this is much easier! :)

I have PSE 4 and use my 'cookie cutter' tool to cut out different shapes for my pics & papers! Them my 'move' tool to resize (smaller/larger) if needed ... super dooper easy!

No wonder..I only have the rectangle and the eliptical shape - I could never get your instructions to work. Off to see if I have tools not loaded. Thanks.

I have some free corner rounder BRUSHES here (http://www.box.net/public/6deo2qfpza) (be patient, sometimes page loads slowly) -- you load them into your brushes folder and use as and ERASER. Resize up or down to get just the right size. With these, you can just erase SOME of the corners like using a corner rounder punch IRL.

I had heard of the brushes technique before, but hadn't gotten around to creating one. Thanks for sharing.

Christine - thank you!!! Since I can't seem to do it with a tool in my PS, I've GOT to learn brushes so I can use this - thanks!!

Thanks, Christine...always love a new brush set to play with! I usually use the shape tool and then select it to create the shape and do the inverse selection and delete on my paper layer. If I'm doing an Artist Trading Card, I just merge layers before I round the corners of the final piece.
