Nice tip! Another good way I thought I would share in Photoshop, is to use the Dodge tool on midtones at about 20% and with a small paintbrush paint over the whites of the eyes, then with the same dodge tool set on highlights at about 40% paint over the light in the eyes. Third step is to use the sponge tool on saturate at about 50% and paint over the colored part of the eyes. This will help them just give it that little bit of pop if the eyes already have some nice focus going on in them.
