Gold member gift subscription?

Have you thought about offering a gold member gift subscription? I was thinking about this for christmas time. Is there a way to offer a subscription to existing members to give to friends? Newbies. You could use the newbie kit as an incentive for the new gifted members and it would be a good way to increase membership and I bet there would be some takers.
Maybe make a special scrapped card with a gift certificate code or something?

:agree This is a good idea except for me to scrap a gift card, I'd have to either design my own product (which I can't do) or get a commercial license to use another designer's products. And then I'd have to credit that designer along with the gift certificate.

Usually what people do now when they buy a gift subscription is they paypal me and in the notes tell me that it's a gift. They scrap their own certificate or card and then let me know the username later.
