Blogger question

I'm trying to work out the right size background to include for blogwear. What size do you like your blogger background?

For my laptop I have it set at 1600 x 840 and it fits perfectly. It's size for blog background NOT what desktop resolution you use. If I make sense?

I am making blogger backgrounds and there are very different sizes people use, I always make them 1280 x 970

If you email me i will send you the background that works with widescreens aswell, i have 2 different widescreens at home so i set it to that and i looked at work with a normalsize screen and then it is set for all sizes.
