I'm using PSCS. I have a title made with chipboard letters. Each letter is individual, I have the letters linked so the entire title moves as one unit. My question is, how do you put the drop shadow on every letter all at once? I know I can just highlight each letter and put the shadow on but I thought I read somewhere that you can give everything the same drop shadow all at once. I don't want every element on the layout to have the drop shadow, just my title. Hope this makes sense. Thank for your help!

how *I* do it is : apply the shadow i want to one letter. right click on that layers name... choose copy layer style. then hightlight the other layers by Shift+clicking KWIM? and right click on one of their names, and choose.... paste layer style.

Ooooh - i'm totally going to have to try this. I hate going through and changing the amount of drop shadow on every element - I had figured out how to add one to everything at the same time, but not how to change the setting. Thanks!!!!!

if they are linked *already* I do as Kristin does

right click>"copy layer style" to the layer I have already applied the style to
and then I right click on one of the linked layers and choose "paste layer style to linked"

Thanks for your responses. I understand what you are telling me to do but I can not get any layers to highlight when hitting shift and then clicking on one or five layers. I tried both left and right clicking on my mouse. What am I doing wrong? I have a collage type layout that I'm working on now. I have a bunch of pictures that I want the same shadow on and I can not highlight the layers. Again, thanks for your help.

You can also drag and drop the shadow. If you click the arrow so the style shows you can drag your shadow layer to the other layers where you want the same effect. As always in PS, there are at least five ways to do something lol.

Thanks again for the responses. The drag and drop option worked perfect. That took about 10 seconds and I had a lot of layers. Thank you!
