There was a thread about this a while back last summer if I remember right. A poll will be interesting to see.

I just ran a sales report to see what my numbers were, and my highest selling kit of all time, which has been out over a year (Home for the Holidays (http://www.scrapdish.com/store/index.php?main_page=product_info&products_id=357)), has sold 91 copies. I'm sure my numbers are all jacked up right now with my clearance sale. But of my kits that actually sold, I usually sold under 25 total. I would say that roughly 50% of my products never sold a single copy until they went on clearance, and then they might sell a dozen, if I'm really really lucky and spend several hours advertising and posting in the galleries and forums.

I agree with the designers on your other thread who said that there really is no average. You can sell 100 of one, and absolutely none of another, and there doesn't seem to be any rhyme or reason to figure out what sells. :madness

It's all part of the reason I'm retiring. LOL. I'm sure someone out there is making a little money off of it, but I really haven't - not for the amount of time I spent at it. ;)

Well, it varies for me...my Frolicking kit (the most popular one so far) has been in the store since August 24, 2006 and has sold around 47 times...actually, the paper pack has sold that many times. The element pack is probably closer to 40 and the alpha is around 25-30. I think it really depends on the quality/likability (sp?) of the kit, and how often it goes on sale ;)

It really really varies.. I haven't been doing too well sales wise lately. I'm also of course in my head compairing nearly a years worth of sales at digital freebies to several months at Sweet Shoppe hahah so that's not even accurate.
I'm not even going to answer the poll because I have no idea :D There are some kits that I've sold like.. 4 and then old kits that I had sold well over 100+ *shrugs*

Since I started up at the Sweet Shoppe about 2 months ago, I have sold about 20- 25 each of my top selling kits. The worst sellers have sold about 5.

Hey, can anyone edit the poll so there is an 'I just want to vote so I can see the results' option for us nosy people?

Cheri, you don't have to vote to see the results- look in the lower right hand corner of the poll section and there is a see results link. That's what I did since I'm not a designer ;)

Great, thanks!! I wanted to know but didn't want to skew the results!

I've always wondered about this too. It's interesting to actually see all the numbers.

You don't have to vote, just follow the "view poll results" link on the bottom right side of the poll.
