View Full Version : My First Good Night Time No Flash Picture!!

I was SOOOOO happy with this one!!! At 300 dpi you can read "King Arthur's Carousel" through the castle doors...and this is untouched by Photoshop - straight out of the camera!
I brought a tri-pod and used 400 ISO, 3.2 second shutter speed, AV 11. And oh - about 20 other shots bracketing everything until I found the right combination! LOL!
I have RAW versions of everything too - gonna see what else I can do!!

WOW that is awesome! i can't wait to learn how to do that. I get so sad sometimes thinking about the potential my camera has that I don't know how to use! Congratulations...give yourself a big ol pat on the back :)

Aw, try not to get sad!! Just play!!! That's all I did - I played with every combination of setting and took note of it for next time!!!!

I'm still totally learning - you should see the ahem, crap ones, that came along with that one! LOL!

Incredible! They need to do a Disney photography class. LOL I can't tell you how many times we've parked ourselves in front of that castle trying to get the perfect shot. Looks like you did!

WOW AWESOME! I too have been playing with my settings but with no such luck. In fact I am totally dissapointed with my shots so far! :(

I was so excited - I felt like such a fool being so excited to see the crispness in the picture too!! Probably because that's my biggest problem - crisp tack sharp pictures!!Oh my gosh, Susan you totally captured the castle like it is in person!! :clap Well done!!

Oh me too!! I am disappointed in about 80% of all the shots I take - my only hope is that with practice I will get a better record!! DOn't give up - just keep playing! !
