Hello all,
Some of you might know me already. I am a designer but really, i dont design: i write and program PSP scripts. Yes, i am a PSP gal, and i LOVE my PSP. I know that many designers and scrappers around are using Adobe products, but i am sure there are many many PSP users and they often feel "alone". So, come and wave!!!
I have been writing PSP scripts for a couple of years now, and my scripts are a bit different than most other scripts. I have a personal store here (http://creationcassel.com/store), but i also sell in other stores (see in my siggie). My specialty is PSP products (i am not that great at kit designing so i leave it to others)
If you are a PSP user, welcome around. If you are totally new to PSP, or if you want to try PSP, i am teaching at the DigiScrapCampus (http://www.doitdigi.com/dsc/forum/index.php), and you guessed it, i teach... PSP!
I am from Canada, and i am bilingual. French is my first language, alors bienvenue à tous les scrappeurs francophone du monde aussi. Si vous avez des questions et que vous voulez les poser en français, envoyez-moi un message privé.

Hi Cassel,
I am another PSP user! I have been using it probably about 8 years or so for photo-editing and more recently for digi-scrapping. I recently got photoshop, but those PSP shortcuts are so ingrained it's been a bit of a struggle!
Anyway, nice to meet you. I will have to check out your sites!

Waves to Janis!!! Glad to meet you and see that i am not alone using PSP!
Joking aside, there are quite a few PSP users around. We just have to find them In fact, i can see many of them in the Haopy Place threads where i offer draws for PSP specific products. Come over and you will see many other names of PSP users.

Hi,
I first learned to use PSP about 10 years ago to do web graphics. I started digital scrapbooking about 5 years ago. All my earlier pages were done with PSP.
I bought Photoshop several years ago just for the challenge to learn something new and because I got tired of translating tutorials into PSP.
I use both now. They each have their strengths. My layouts usually start out in PSP and migrate to PS to use some layer style I have purchased as a finishing touch.
Cassel, I have your tule script. It makes it so easy to make a tule base for the digital lace I like to create occasionally using the reflection effects in PSP. Thank you for creating it.

Hey Cassel! Been using PSP since I started web design...YEARS ago...LOL! I have a copy of CS4 - thought I would give it a try, but for the life of me, I'm so stuck on PSP that I just don't have the desire to switch. About the only thing I found that designers could do in a PS program that 'we' couldn't was quality checking with that 'stroke' thing they do....UNTIL I found this nifty little script you made that does the same thing for me in PSP! *Note to other PSP users - Cassel is not only a great script writer, but a tremendous help in many other areas, and always answers PM's from pesky people like me.... :)* So - HOWDY to all the other PSP people - I know you are out there!!!

I'm a PSP newbie and enjoying Cassel class videos very much! I'm a fellow teacher at the Campus but I teach non-software specific topics. Right now I'm finishing up producing The Art of Design which is automatically included in the PSP class..yippee! :yahoo
So if you're new to PSP, or just want to check out the Art of Design while brushing up on PSP...you may even discover new tricks to use...come on by. At least visit the campus and play along with some of our challenges. :D

I normally just lurk on this site, but I had to answer this one. I use PSPx2; I have Adobe PSE, but for the life of me, I can't figure out how to use it! Guess I'll stick to PSP. :lol

Hi!! I have been using PSP for like three or four years now. Love it and dont really intend to look elsewhere!! The only thing I see that Adobe users have is actions that I cannot do with PSP so I am never going to spend hundreds of dollars for that LOL. I  PSP!!

Cassel,
Any good places you would suggest for PSP tutorials or hints and tips?

WE have the DigiScrap Campus (http://www.doitdigi.com/dsc/forum/index.php)where I am preparing lessons especially for PSP users (but those are not free, although you can hang out with other PSP users for free in the Recreational Center and the Lounge). For tips and tricks, i have my newsletter in my store (http://creationcassel.com/store)where you get a new tip every week. There is the Creascrapbook (http://www.creascrapbook.com/) site (in Creation Tools > Tips and Tricks). And there is Suz Shook's site (http://home.roadrunner.com/~suzshook/).

I used PSPX for over a year and just switched to PSPX3 I love it..I am teaching myself CS4 also but find I personally can get what I want out of PSP easier..I love PSP!! I doubt I will ever give up fully using my paint shop pro program..IMO it is just easier to use and WE PSP USERS have autosave.. :)

I use PSP. I just got PS about two months ago. Both programs have their own unique strengths but I have a soft spot in my heart for PSP since that's what I "grew up" doing photo manips on. ;) Glad to see some other PSP users out there.

Yeah, scripts are wonderful, but for distribution they require more than a "Record script" button!

Okay, my turn. Some of you may have read from me a bit around here. I use PSP and love it. I was shown somethings on the program a few years ago but most of my learning has been in the last year. Thanks to a wonderful mentor (whom we all know and love from her wonderful PSP specific products :notworthy). One thing she taught me was ways to do extractions. I am having alot of fun with that, just this last week, I did 80 different flowers I had photographed in the last few years.
I am also trying to take the classes and finding I'm a very basic user. I have tried CS4 and for the sake of my sanity have passed it on to the circular file under my desk. Makes a great product to keep the kids gum from sticking to the bottom of the file........LOL.
Anyway, I am also the store owner at Do It Digi and one of the staff at the Digi Scrap Campus. I love to learn and see what creative things I can do once I have learned them.
I hope many more PSP'ers sing in here. We'd love to see how many of us there really are.
