Hi,
My name is Allison Kimball.
I've worked within the scrapbooking industry for years and years and decided to venture into into digital or the "dark side", as some of my "die-hard paper" friends have commented.

I look forward to getting to know you.

Hi Allison! WELCOME TO THE DARK SIDE! Buahahahahaha. We have you now.....:giggle Hey there's lots of options and ideas and even hybrid scrapbooking, which of course can mean whatever you want, from using basic printed elements on a traditional layout, to starting with a digital layout and adding real layers (like flowers or bling), which I love to do! We definitely have room for you (come on everyone, scoot over) and I look forward to seeing your first forays into digital! You might enjoy checking things out over at www.ScrapArtist.com - the creative team there is just amazing! (Not to mention the designers, if I do say so myself! ;) )

Hi and welcome to DST and the wonderful world of digi:yahoo!
I too was a paper scrapper for many years. DH is thrilled I am saving money, no matter how many kits I purchase.
I often do my own idea of hybrid as well.

Hi Dianne, I will be sure to check it out.

Janice, thank you for the PM reminder. It's been a while since I've been in a forum.

Hi Michelle. I hope that digi will save me money. At least I won't be hoarding my favorite rubons or buy all the letter sticker the local shop has in stock because they are being discontinued.

very true...Also, don't do like I did when I first started digi...I "deleted" as I used them, -- did not realize they could be used again. I also purchsed double alpha packages...as I needed more than 1 "e" --:blush

Good thing, I can LOL at myself.

Welcome to the digital darkside, lol. I was a paper scrapper too and while I haven't completely renounced it (as in sold my stuff, lol), I haven't used it in over 5 years either (my kids do love the stickers :))

Glad you found us - I'm sure you'll find lots of answers and resources for whatever you need!
