Avatar Help

I know this is one of those questions that are answered thousands of times but appreciate your help. I know size can't be more than 100 x 100 pixels and no more than 6 kg in size but how do I resize my photo for my avatar. I notice there is a variety of sizes already being used and as you can see mine is smaller and kind of fuzzy. Any suggestions? I have both DIP and PSE 4. Thanks for your help!

In photoshop you could take your picture you want to use and crop it to a square ish. Then go IMAGE>SIZE (or RESIZE--not sure) and type in the larger of the two (heighth or width ) to be 100 pixels at 72 dpi. That should resize it. I hope that helps. :)
