Photoshop Upgrade

I don't know why I don't feel comfortable doing this....

I just got my new laptop in - installed my old Photoshop CS CD and then did my upgrade to CS2 but can I uninstall the old version? I hate to have two up and going. I never uninstalled it on my old laptop because I wasn't sure it was screw up something.

As far as I know, the install is a stand-alone installation. So you should be able to uninstall the previous version. The "upgrade" seems to refer to eligibility for lower pricing rather than something in the software.

NOTE: Please take note that I've not done the uninstall on my laptop for the same reason as you. LOL But with a brandnew laptop you don't have a lot of data to lose, so you can just re-install the CS version if you need to.
