Whatever happened to the coffee mugs?

Did I miss them? I remember the poll about which one we wanted, but I never saw anything else about them. Was there not enough interest? I'm not complaining, I just wanted to make sure there wasn't a link I was missing.

Weeeell....here's the thing. :lol

The majority wanted PINK and TRAVEL. But the few pink travel mugs we could find were either REALLY expensive or REALLY dorky looking. We couldn't afford the cool ones and I wasn't excited about getting the dorky ones. I couldn't in good conscience charge $20 for something that I myself wouldn't pay $20 for. And charging less than $20 wouldn't be worth the effort it would take for me to design, purchase, juggle orders and ship each mug.

So we were at an impasse.

hmmm.... Maybe somebody could design a DST insert that we could put in our own mugs.

what about someone designing a logo to be sold at CafePress? Then we could order the design as a T-shirt or a coffee mug or whatever.

I noticed that Rhonna has some really cute ones for the OTHER place, and I was feeling all jealous. It's so funny that I feel that way, too, because I could just get one because they're cute, but I'M NOT A PEA! I'm a Shop Girl, and I wanna ShopGirl shirt!!! {pout pout}

I'm not trying to add another slab of meat to your plate, Shannon, but is that even a possibility?

Alright, let me talk to Erick when he gets home today. Maybe we'll hold a design contest and whatever design is chosen will be used on some Cafe Press items. ;)

I like the contest idea!! I also like the idea of the digishop talk logo in white on a red background, and maybe some of the brushwork on the homepage in a deeper red??

I want a mug whether or not it is pink!! :)
