... but is there a keyboard shortcut for the back button? I have found that I spend SO much time scrolling from message, back to the back button, back to a new message, back to the back button. It would be way easier to just have quick keystroke (i.e., CTRL B or something wonderful like that) instead.

Well, I guess I'm pretty lazy myself b/c after reading your post I realize that I also need the BACK shortcut! LOL! I bet there alot of us out there. Anyone know?

Its actually not as big an issue here at work with my mouse, but at home with the laptop is where I really notice the need!

Oh, I can relate. It *used* to drive me crazy, so now I have a different system. I scroll down the list of topics, then right click > open new window on the ones that interest me. Then I go through the windows, read the threads, and close when finished. Sure, I have about 15 windows open, but I don't have to go back. ANYTHING to avoid that back button! :D :D

If I understood this correctly, try Alt + Arrow keys (left/right) :-)

As far as I know the backspace key works in most browsers as a shortcut key for the back button. Or if you have a multi-button mouse you can program one of the buttons to do the "back" function.

I think it makes me even lazier than you are. :roll: But I should get a blinkie for the best friend thing, right?

I also use the page up/down keys to navigate a thread when I get tired of scrolling.
