Hi Liss! I LOVE the color of your poppy as all I've seen are the orange ones. Thanks so much for sharing!

There's a wide variety of poppys available, but this one was a seed blown from someone else's garden hehe. I know I've had blue poppies before, they are such delicate flowers.

Oh I love looking at everyone's flower pictures. The bee balm with the butterfly -- just love it. I never seem to catch the butterflies on the flowers.

Okay, I was wanting to share a few new photos with you all of flowers, but for the life of me I cannot get the image to insert when I use the Img button on top, add the URL, and finish with the IMG button. Any suggestions?
In the meantime, here are 3 of them:

Rose, those are gorgeous!
Debbie - WOW. Amazing work!
TFS!
Peggy - After I saw your hosta bud, I had to go see if I had any buds on my hostas...I found the same type you have, with some buds getting ready to open up. Now I'm going to have to try to get a capture like yours! :D

Rose, those are drop dead gorgeous! I'd also be interested to hear what lense you are using!
Debbie, you may not be able to link directly to your blog. Some hosts won't allow the links so you may not be doing anything wrong. I do know that in order to link them they have to have "jpg" on the end and not "html". Perhaps you could try that?
Amy, can't wait to see your hosta bud!!

:) Deb, I'm loving your galleries! The Jane Magnolia was my favorite I think-I love unusual flowers!
 As for my lens (no laughing please!) all my photos were/are using a point & shoot Kodak Easyshare 3.2 mpx. I put it on the close-up setting for most flower shots (and try to hold really still! lol!). Someday I hope to get a DSLR, when that lottery money comes rolling in! :D

Rose, I truly believe that its the photographer... not the camera that makes the pictures. I have a Canon 20D but I still love using my Sony!

Okay gals, I've added 4 more flower pics to my blog today. I just bought a used macro lens and I am loving it! I have decided I need to use a tripod with it. My hands are just too shakey, LOL. Anyhow, go have a peek if you have time and let me know what you think. I especially like the one with the bug :)

Deb, my favorite is the one with the bug also... very cool! I read down your blog... so wonderful that you had a great time at Chicago CHA convention and I loved the photo of you and Traci Sims. And I absolutely LOVE your LO with Aria in her easter pretties called Simple Pleasures... WOW awesome!

Peggy, I have to thank you for sharing this photo! I've been seeing these along the sides of the roads here (south central WI) and have been trying to find out what they are for weeks now!

Oh Deb you lucky thing - that macro looks like so much fun! Loved them all - the blackeyed susan was my favorite, I loved the angle!
Peggy, the chickory is so pretty, I've been looking at it every morning on the way to work wishing I could get a shot of it. It seems like it's only open in the mornings here-like morning glories. AND I had no clue what it was either!! Didn't they used to use chickory in place of coffee during war time rationing? I digress, cool photos girls! :)
