I am looking for ideas for Heritage LO. I did a search of the board to see if anyone had started a thread like this but not so far. So I am!
I am anticipating having access to some cool old photos of my grandmother's soon (she is 85) and I really want to get some of them into heritage type LO's. I have never scrapped any heritage pictures before. Although from looking at some LO in the past I would say my style would be more worn/classic than the victorian/flowery style. But show me everything!
Thanks :)

Heres one of a picture I took 20 years ago when my daughter was a baby. Its a 5 generation picture - but I have it in my heritage album. Let me also mention it has a great heritage poem.

My absolute favorite heritage artist is Robyn England- check out her gallery here- http://www.scrapartist.com/gallery/showgallery.php?cat=500&ppuser=1707
And she does some awesome heritage challenges at ScrapArtist- http://www.scrapartist.com/scrapforums/forumdisplay.php?f=39 So you can look through those and get some ideas too.

This is one I did of my mother when she was 20 something. It's her wedding picture. Had she lived she'd be 97! I used a kit that I made called Remember Mama.

Hi there! :D
I just posted a heritage LO I did recently - using Misty Cato's BEAUTIFUL kit, "Rustic Charm" from Scrapbook-Elements (perfect for heritage photos and so much more!)
Here's a link:
http://www.digishoptalk.com/gallery/showphoto.php?photo=4705&nocache=1
I really, really highly recommend this kit of Misty's - it has SOoo many beatiful papers and elements - enough to do a beautiful album without 2 pages the same. (Of course I might be just a TINY bit biased - I love everything of Misty's - which is one of the reasons I'm on her team! ;)

I jsut posted my first two in the gallery here (link is in my sig) - one yesterday and one today - they are both photos of my Mum, so maybe not quite "that" old, but they are well over 40 years old, and they are very precious to us.

I should say that I haven't gotten to my really old photos yet, these are all from the 1960's to the 1980's. I'm working my way backwards.
Here are a few I have done. I tried to give you a variety.

OK! Because I am old myself, I have tons of heritage layouts. One of my favorite designers is Kathryn Balint at Kathrynbalint.com. She does vintage with a touch of whimsy. My layouts don't usually tend to be too flowery. Here's a few of my layouts. Are you sorry you asked?

I have 2 albums of heritage only at SBB. The only designers I use for my heritage layouts are Mo Jackson, Kathryn Balint, Gina Johnson, Ronna Penner, Doris Castle, and a few of my own. It's my favorite kind of layout to make, but since I am almost 50 years old, over half of my photos are considered "heritage."

HappyRobyn (Robyn England), Steinwaysmom, Mishou (Michelle), Fiddlette (Christine) and Nevache are the best chicks for Heritage Challenges.
You should see their galleries @ Scrapartist which has a weekly heritage challenge. There is some great inspiration here:
