View Full Version : Realistic Holes on Tags/Brads

This has confused me ever since I figured out how to erase the background out of hole in a tag or brad or something like that.

How many layers do you erase to get the most realistic look? I mean, if it were a paper layout, the tag or brad would be attached to the paper, so at least one layer should be erased, but do you do more after that?

I generally erase down to the top layer that it's going to be sitting on. In your case to the green frame.

I would have erased a hole out of the green frame like the eyelet was punched into that too :)

I erase all the way to the "main paper" (first layer of the page).

I would let the orange show through, 'cause you probably wouldn't punch the eyelet all the way through the ribbon!
