Anyone else had to quit scrapping and chatting long enough to go do a little cleaning? It is that time for me... yuck-o-la! Keep me in your prayers! :)

Anyone have housecleaning tips to make it go faster? :)

Use a timer & set it for 15 minutes. See how much you can get done in just 15 minutes.

HIRE someone :)

Good Luck

Get someone else to do it? My husband hates how I clean, so he does it. Works for me!

Hey... I like these ideas! But alas, I must do the work myself! :(

I am right there with you! Today is just got me bummed out. I clean, the rest of the family trashes the house, I clean again, trashed again. I have to clean again... I don't wanna!

Jeanelle... I feel your pain girlfriend. :)

I have gotten everything pretty much done for the day. Phewww... (wiping sweat from brow). My son and husband will be home soon, so they can get it all dirty again. :) Now what was the point of housecleaning, again?

OK - I'm right there with Anna. I work outside the home, and I finally convinced my DH to hire someone. BEST thing I ever did! I got tired of spending my entire weekend trying to get my house 'liveable' after a long week. DH has been traveling a lot, so our weekends are even more important right now. I have the house cleaned on Friday, which forces us to straighten everything on Thursday night. The house is nice and pretty for the weekend.

On another note - I am trying to convince my DH that I need to cut back my work. If I can't quit all together, I at least want to cut back my hours. Part of that deal will include ME being the house cleaner again, but if I'm not working all day, I'm fine with cleaning.

Good luck, Kel! And big HUGS!!

It's too darn hot to clean, or cook, or do anything necessary!

What's this housework thing you speak of? Haven't done it in ages...or so my house seems to show, LOL. Why bother when it looks the same after 2 hours?

I had to clean two days ago in preparation for my sisters' arrival so I feel your pain!

Ah...the dreaded H word!!
I actually convinced my DH that I needed a housecleaner for the summer so I could spend time with the kids doing fun stuff! He thinks I'm going to get rid of her after summer. I think he's got another thing coming!

Housecleaning, what's that?! heehee....

Since DH and I both work full time +, we hired someone else to do it. It's so nice not to spend our weekend fighting, I mean discussing :>, who is going to clean the toilet.

When I was still at home with my baby, I used to divide the cleaning into days of the week: Monday - clean bathrooms, Tuesday - laundry, Wednesday - clean kitchen, Thursday - pick everything up and vacuum, etc.

Good luck with the cleaning motivation!!

I think there is something wrong with this forum!!! I keep seeing some word being mentioned in every post but it just all goes blurry and I can't see it...
