Hi all! I've read through several tutorials today and played around with photoshop all day and I still can't seem to do what I want to do, or figure out if it's even possible. I have quite a few brushes loaded them into PS. If I close the program and come back to them later, though...they aren't there. I'm trying to load them into their own category so that they aren't all lumped together. Am I missing something? Any help is appreciated.

I think that you have to save the brushes to have them back after you restart PS.

You have to click on the little arrow in the brush pallet and go to save as set. To save just your brushes you can right click on the unwanted brushes and delete when asked until you have just yours. In the brushes that come with PS there are are couple sets that aren't too big so you don't have to delete too many but I can't remember off hand which ones they are.

Yes, I did, after I posted this. I'm sorry, I guess I should have updated it. Your tutorial rocked and totally solved my problem. Thanks!

Oh, I'm glad to read that it was helpful.
I think I confused myself writing that one...lol....at the bottom portion on saving...I'm going to let it set for a week or so and then tweak it to make it easier to understand...I've some different ideas on ways to organize the writing so it is easier to understand.
