that is NOT boyish or cowboy-themed? I just bought my dd a quilt from Target (I've never liked their kids' bedding options before, but I loved this!) and I thought it would be fun to do something digiscrap-related with it as an inspiration of sorts. The colors seem like popular ones for the summer, and I probably already have papers or kits with these colors (or can find them easily - I just need for the kids to go back to school...next week!); I just don't recall having seen anything that was horse-y and not totally dominated by brown and blue and with cowboy hats [admitting here that it's been awhile since I looked].

Pics of the new bedding:

It's not a horse-y kit by the first thing I thought of when I saw this was Mirranda Reinhardt's Summer Flowers kit. (http://www.yesterday-remembered.com/zencart/index.php?main_page=product_info&products_id=35) I think it would work perfectly for it. Love that bedding set though, it's adorable! I'm with you on the whole kiddie bedding stuff, my ds loves it though

Andrea, thanks for the link; you're right - it seems like a great match!

Anyone else know of any horse-themed kits, though? Especially girly kits? Please? Anyone?

That is some really cute bedding (my oldest dd loves horses too!) - have you contacted Kim Hill? I know she's able to do custom kits - and all you really need to make that other kit perfect is some fringe and horse shapes.

I have a daughter who owned a horse until she recently married. I spent an extensive amount of time looking for cowboy-themed/horse kits in March and I'm sorry to say I'm almost positive there aren't any girly horse-themed kits. Would it be possible to scan in part of the bedding you purchased to use as elements?

I would love to make a girly horse kit! It wouldn't be any time soon, though. I'm slo-o-o-ow.

LOL, that's about my speed anyway. :) I'm still debating the one kit that Andrea recommended (I'm WAY overspent on digiscrap stuff, which is especially bad since...), but I am so slow with scrapping anyway, I figure I'm not in a rush.

Of course, it's still on my mind, so who knows what I might scramble up after my Open House tomorrow - anyone reading this, please send "someone buy this house" vibes, please!.
