Ok, to answer questions...

1. What do you consider your biggest achievement in life?

By far it's my kids - I have 3 boys and one girl and they blow my mind all the time (except last night when I was ready to kill them and wondered what possessed me to give birth HAHAHAHA).

2. What is your favorite thing to cook?

Well I LOVE baking cookies & cakes & other generally bad-for-you things. As for cooking, I just love trying new recipes. My dh hates it (Pickiest. Eater. On. Earth.) but a few of my test recipes have turned out to be family favorites.

3. Share your most embarrassing moment.

I'm sure I have a lot. Hmmmm. Ok, here's one. And telling it, I'm sure it's not that embarrassing but at the time it was. After high school I did an internship with a Christian organization for one year with a bunch of other people my age. One Saturday, we were all out playing a game of volleyball. A friend (male) of mine & I were whooping everyone. Now just to set this up, I have ginormous boobs. So with everyone watching (since we just did some awesome play) he put his hands down low so I could give him 10 then I did the same - only, he missed and gave me 10 RIGHT on my boobs. We both turned bright red and started laughing (turns out nobody saw anyways). It was pretty funny. I'm sure something more embarrassing has happened - that's just what came to my mind.

4. Share your "designer story". How did you get started?

I've been doing graphic design for a few years. I design and administrate a few websites and almost 3 years ago I started my own announcement/invitation business (www.spreadthenewsdesigns.com). I began creating my own papers & embellishments for some of the cards. So when I begain digiscrapping in April of 2006 (awww, it's my one year anniversary! LOL) it was just natural for me to want to create my own things.

I started out making little things to give out at RAKscraps.com - the little things progressed into full kits (although, I'm a little embarrassed to show you some of my first kits LOL). I started searching for somewhere to sell and got a position at digiscrapcentral. While I was waiting to hear back from them, another woman approached me saying that she was opening a new store and would I like to join her on the design team. I said yes. Scrapcloud opened in July. I had fun at both stores but all along had really wanted to open my own shop. In September, I began to work on a website and on October 1st Blue Flombingo went live.

In November, one of my CT pointed me to a call that PDW was giving so I applied and was accepted! I was only there for 1.5 months when the store closed, but got a PM from Laura at The Digi Chick asking if anyone else had grabbed me up yet. :) I, of course, was honored and thrilled and I so completely LOVE it at TDC. The girls there are fantastic.

So that it's! At the moment, I don't have plans to go anywhere. TDC is great - Blue Flombingo is great - I'm really happy!

5. Who is YOUR favorite designer right now?

That's really a hard question. LOL. There are so many things that I love. I think Natalie Braxton is brilliant, but (I can't believe I'm going to admit this) I have yet to buy something from her. I need to get on that. LOL. I love Meredith Fenwick - she has such awesome papers and I'm happy to say I DO own a lot of her stuff. LOL. But really, I love just picking and choosing things from all different designers when I'm doing a LO. There are so many amazingly talented people.

Ok - questions...

Do you have any other hobbies you enjoy?

I have a lot of hobbies - some of which have progressed into jobs too. I LOVE photography and started my photography business 2 years ago. I have been scrapbooking for probably 12 years now (just went DIGI last April) so that was probably my biggest hobby. I sew, I read, I'm crafty. I have too many, if you ask me. LOL!

What inspires you?

For the things I design? It varies sooo much. It could be some clothes that I saw, something in a magazine, just a thought or a memory.

What's your favourite colour?
I just love periwinkle. I don't use it or wear it, I just love it.
