Usually scrappin' sites frown upon direct linking, so I'd say your best bet would be to upload it to PhotoBucket.com or ImageShack.com and get the direct link for it. Then after that you post a code like this into a new post:

IMAGE LINK HERE

And your page should show up! Just be sure to get the direct link for it after you upload it. :)

rather than hotlinking, why not just provide a link TO a page at a gallery where it is hosted -- this is done hundreds of times a day on yahoo groups.
