Rach, I didn't put any special effects on that photo. That is how it turned out. I have no idea what happened but I love it. It deserved a layout all on it's own. The other photos from the day were delegated to a multi photo layout. :lol

Don't know how I'll go answering these questions but my morning cup of tea has started to kick in now and I'm thinking a little clearer. :p

1. What is your favorite tv show?
I have an annoying habit of falling asleep in front of the television at night so I don't get to finish watching a lot of shows. I need a website that I can go look up the endings to a lot of shows because I miss them all the time.
My current faves are: CSI (The original is the best. mmmm Grissom. Is that showing my age?)
Lost - although my DH rubbishes it all the time now. He comes out with comments like "Wow! That answered some questions didn't it"?
The Amazing Race - we're watching the All-Stars one here in Australia at the moment. I've never been so happy to see someone leave the show as when Rob and Amber went the other night. (I actually stayed awake for that one).
2. What is your favorite cookie?
We actually call them biscuits here in Australia. And I've been trying to give them up - or at least reduce them from my diet. But my favourites would have to be Anzacs. Nobody makes them like my grandmother used to but I love the ones we get from our local Coles.
3. Share the biggest obstacle you have faced in your life.
Which part of my life? I seem to be coming away from one obstacle and another raises it's head. Not really, but it sometimes feels like that.
Over the years I have been in an abusive marriage (not any more), lost my brother in an accident, lost a step brother to leukaemia, had another brother diagnosed with leukaemia as well, lost my grandmother, lost 5 angel babies and faced various other smaller obstacles as well. btw my brother that was diagnosed with leukaemia is still with us but he has GVH (graft versus host) where his body is still trying to reject his bone marrow transplant 10 years later. The drugs he has to take and the effects of the chemotherapy have aged him about 20 years. If he didn't have his sense of humour I would cry each time I see him.
But you know what? Life is fantastic. I can see how each of these things has shaped my life to what it is now. I have met my soulmate. I have beautiful children. And I'm going to be a grandma. It doesn't get much better than that.
4. Share your "designer story". How did you get started?
It's all Karen Hunt's fault. Truly...
Karen and I were (Dare I say it?...... paper scrappers!) and we were both on the same creative team for an aussie online store. We met at a retreat and hit it off and then she started telling me about this stuff she was doing on the computer. When she got home she sent me a disk of her designs and I wanted to be like her. I've never become like her.... but it was her that encouraged me to try. I've been designing and selling now for about 2 and a half years.
5. Who is YOUR favorite designer right now?
I refuse to answer this on the grounds that someone may hunt me down and do me harm if I forget them. :lol
I have lots of faves. The aussies all rock - Trish Jones, Anita Stergiou, TracyAnn Robinson, Deb Fisher (don't forget that if you buy anything of Deb's she gets 100% of it at the moment), Karin McCombes, Karen Hunt (of course) and Eugenia Bacon.... there are heaps of them. And I love Kim Hill, Sophia Davies, Kelly Shults and Carrie Stephens.
See, no ONE fave designer. But lots of stuff on my hard drive.
