Ok, here are some first-round answers for you!

1. Aside from scrapbooking, what creative outlets do you have?
I like working on my photography. My day is totally complete if I get that "perfect" shot of the kids. And I have a bunch of other creative things I enjoy doing but lets be real; I don't have time for any since being a designer/scrapper. :lol2


2. What is your favorite thing to wear?

3. What is your least favorite household chore?
Bathrooms! Bleck. Sorry but if *I* don't get under the toilet seat, why am I wiping it? Gross!


4. Share your "designer story". How did you get started?
I would say for my first 20 or so layouts, I made ALL of the papers and elements myself. No, they were not pretty. :lol2 But I had that 'bug' to make my own stuff right from the get-go. (I was a regular 2Ps poster and was very inspired by Rhonna Farrer!) That was January 2005. In June, I decided I wanted to open my own store- but didn't have the skills to do so (where was Lauren Barden when I needed her? :lol) At that same time, I made The Digi Chick site CT. And in July when I heard Holly was opening her store for other sellers, I sent her a few samples of my work. I remember it was the same weekend my Uncle died unexpectedly and she wrote me back that I had a spot - I was so excited (well, as happy as I could be at the time; you know what I mean).

I sold at The Digi Chick from August-December 2005.
Scrapbook-Bytes from January - November 2006.
Gina Miller designs was opened in July 2006.
Funky Playground Designs from November 2006 - January 2007.

Now I am 110% content and happy running my own little boutique and being exclusive to there. :)


5. Who is YOUR favorite designer right now?
Well if you know me, you know I get around. :lol3 I love to shop and support fellow designers. But probably my new "I must buy nearly everything she releases!!!" designer is Anne Dejong (http://www.***************************/shop/index.php?main_page=index&manufacturers_id=6).

In June, I decided I wanted to open my own store- but didn't have the skills to do so (where was Lauren Barden when I needed her? :lol) At that same time, I made The Digi Chick site CT. And in July when I heard Holly was opening her store for other sellers, I sent her a few samples of my work. I remember it was the same weekend my Uncle died unexpectedly and she wrote me back that I had a spot - I was so excited (well, as happy as I could be at the time; you know what I mean).

She was "only" a scrapper then applying for TDC's CT, just like you. :lol Wow, I can't believe we've been friends that long already! I'm feeling so "I knew you when" right now. ;)

So well deserved G!! If I could have only ONE designer's stuff, it would be yours hands down! :wub Someone fetch the glittery crown for Mrs Miller please!! Don't make me make one, you know what a mess I make when I'm given control of the glitter. :rofl2

Favorite coffee drink?
Depends on where I'm gettin' it from. :lol
I love a latte from Starbucks.
I love cappuccino after dinner at our weekly restaurant.
And I really, truly love the regular ol' coffee from Dunkin' Donuts. I take mine light & sweet. ;)


Do you listen to music when you scrap/design?
Every once in a while I'll hop onto YouTube and play some tunes. Not regularly though. And if I'm at the point of journaling on my layout, I need total silence or else I can't concentrate on what I want to write!

Not at all. At 18, I was in college studying & earning a degree in Fashion Design. After that, I moved on to study Psychology w/ a minor in Business Law. I can remember being in this really intense 4-hour Psych. lab where the professor handed out cards; we were to write down what we wanted to be/do after graduation. Lots of Psychologists, Professors, Doctors.... mine said "Be a wife & mother." My Mom was like "I hope you didn't really write that!!!!" when I told her about it but I really did Mom. :lol I knew the life I have now was always meant for me, even at 18. :)

Ok, to answer Michelle's question:

How do you design? Like do you have an idea and a name already picked out before you really get too far into it or do you start fiddling and then get inspired for the rest? Or a little of both?

A little bit of both! :lol More times then not, I just have some colors picked out in my head; either I saw a picture or a dress (or shoe! :lol2) and I create papers based on that. And sometimes a few elements will come to me in the middle and that's when a kit is created. I rarely sit to actually create a full kit.

How long did you feel like a real beginner with digiscrapping? (I'm in that stage and I'm just wondering when I can work my way out!)

Oh man. I felt like a beginner for a looooooooong time. Even as a designer. I've been at this for 2.5 years now though so I can safely say, I feel pretty comfy where I'm at. ;) Bottom line is- I ALWAYS enjoyed what I was doing, even if I felt I still had lots to learn, so just enjoy the ride! :D


What reality show do you miss most when it's over for the season?
Big Brother! I love that show.

Tough one since I just got back from a pretty fantastic trip. And I'm a HUGE Disney World fan (but you knew that already!) but we have a vacation planned in September so... I'm really not wishing to go anywhere right at this moment. :lol2

Just depends on how well they fit when I slide them on! I like Lucky's and I have a favorite pair from NY&Company. I've been wanting to get a pair of True Religions but haven't got around to hitting the jean store lately!

Something that researches and helps people suffering from arthritis. (http://www.charitynavigator.org/index.cfm/bay/search.summary/orgid/5017.htm) My maternal Grandmother has terrible Rheumatoid & Osteo and was completely crippled and in pain daily. My Mom is only 52 and in the past few months, her hands have been curling and she can't hold anything for too long. She went to the doctor and they said arthritis starts in the hands. :( So now I'm scared for her.


Name 2 celebs to you admire and why?
Reese Witherspoon; she looks like she has her act together! Every single time you see her kids photographed, she is holding their hands. Walking them to school, to church... never a Nanny in sight.
