As some of you know, a couple months ago my son was born too early at only 20 weeks, and didn't make it. Because of this, March of Dimes is a charity that is extra special to me. With this being Mother's Day weekend, I wanted to do something special with the March of Dimes Charity Kit over at Songbird Avenue (http://www.songbirdavenue.com). I will give a gift card for a kit at Songbird Avenue (If you already have this month's kit, you can use it next month) to a random person at Midnight Sunday night. This is a picture of my son when he was 2 days old, he had to go to the NICU b/c of a heart problem when he was born. He looked huge next to all the preemies. I'm so sorry for your loss, I know it was devestating. I'll keep you in my prayers.

This is the youngest picture I have of my daughter. We are guessing she is about 6 months old. It was taken at the orphange. The layout is the first page of her lifebook (a lifebook tells an adopted child everything we know about their life before we adopted them).

I am also truly sorry for your loss. My husband and I have been down that path and through the pain of a late miscarriage. At the time it was very painful, but we ended up down another path and I cannot imagine life any other way.

Oh, hun!! (((hugs))) Last year, I wouldn't understand this as well as I do now... My son is 3 months old and while he was a big surprise, I don't know what I would do without him.

March of Dimes is special to my heart since I became a mother, and I purchased the Folk Art kit on the first day the site opened.
You have my most heartfelt sympathy.

Girl, I'm so feeling for you! I've had two miscarriages, and no matter how long you're pregnant, it's so hard. I hope you can give it a place in your life, in time.

Those are some beautiful layouts, thanks for sharing!

I did have a nice Mother's Day, as I hope all of you did. DH is out of town, but my 15 year old brought me flowers with a very sweet handwritten card, and my 18 month old took 2 naps (normally she only takes 1).

I put the numbers of the posts on slips of paper and drew a winner. The winner is Andrea C. Congrats!
