Ok, I admit it, I am a die hard Soprano's fan - I know, not the nicest of shows...but I have been watching it from day 1 (don't know how many years now). It's based in NJ, which is where I am from so it's always interesting to hear them talk about the neighborhoods I grew up in....anyway...

So, who else saw it this evening? OMG, what an episode - only 3 left in the final series!!! My heart was in my stomach!!!! I'm dying over here!!!!!! Please tell me I'm the only fan!!!!

Ahhhh...NO! My husband and I are true fans, LOL! My husband is also from Wayne, NJ and his father owned a pharmacy in Caldwell....We had a Duplex for a year after we got married in Bloomfield in walking distance to the train (Not too far from Tony's hangout...not the Bada Bing, LOL) and walking distance to Montclair too. We see places we recognize all the time!

I tuned in about 10 minutes into the show so caught Tony in the hospital hallway...We didn't get to see what happened to Christopher.

Just expecting at any moment the ending of Tony!

I didn't watch last season so I'm out of the loop. Is there any place to catch up on the show? Did Christopher kill Adriana?

Oh gosh Adriana was killed 2 seasons ago I think. Do I dare say what happened to Christopher? Ok, I'm gonna spoil it - so if you have not seen it yet or don't want to know - please don't read further.............lada, dee, lada dum...ok, so Christopher gets high and gets into this big accident with Tony on the way back from a meeting with Phil (NY Boss) and flips the truck several times, off some cliff. By the the time it comes to a final roll Christopher and Tony are pretty messed up. Tony gets out and walks to the drivers side where Christopher is and Christopher says, "I'll never pass a drug test". Now Christopher is completely out of it and spitting blood. So I don't prolong this with the minute details, let me get to the end here..lol. Tony goes over and holds Christopher's nose and Christopher chokes to death on his own blood. OMG, I was dying watching this!!!!! Of course in the end Tony is fine and surprisingly, or not, Tony is relieved that Christopher is dead and can't seem to even be bothered with sitting at Christopher's own wake.

oh, and I believe Silvio killed Adriana at the direction of Tony Soprano - but Christopher was well aware of what was going to happen to her. it was either him or her...

DH and I watch the Sopranos..I hate to admit it too, b/c I'm not crazy about the nudie scenes or all the f-ing this and that but we started watching it way back when and just got involved...anyway...yes last night was a surprise...I had a feeling Christopher was going to die before the show ended, but I really expected it to be a "hit" ordered by Tony KWIM? Also, has anyone noticed the weird editing this season? I mean...sometimes it's kind of hard to follow because they jump around so much.

I watch it - reluctantly. I haven't enjoyed the past few seasons, but my DH and I watch it out of habit. We're from NY/NJ also. Can't wait to see how they wrap it all up.

Yeah, it's like a soap opera! But I love it!

My vote for a great ending is that Adrianna didn't actually die as she was shot with a small caliber handgun & we didn't actually see it, just heard the shot...so I am dreaming up the idea that she survived has been under the protection of the Feds and the whole crew gets handcuffed in the end! LOL

Yes, I was wrong...my husband confirmed that Silvio wacked Adriana. I always have a picture in my head that it was Paulie though.

I think the writers wrote it that way for Tony to exercise the frustration, anguish and disappointment in Christopher.

Yes...exactly Jeannie. Killing someone with your bare hands is much more violent than shooting with a gun...the end result is the same, it is all violence and still makes you a murderer but there is something so savage about kiiling with your hands.....Tony is unraveling before our eyes.

So Ash, tell E. that Tony took him out like a man! ;) LOL

Oh man that is a cool idea Jayne!!! Another Jersey fan here.
I can't believe what happened to Chris! That was just tragic. And I was feeling so bad for him last week while they were all enabling him to drink and even sill after he killed Tim Daily. I was thinking he would be getting out of it.

I'll have to watch the remaining episodes & then rent the last couple of seasons to see what I missed.
I'm keeping up with The Tudors though;) I read The Other Boleyn Girl last fall & I keep telling dh all these little side stories about the characters. He asked me if I remembered all that from history or had I been googling it.:p I'll be watching that movie in December:)

We've been Soprano's fans from the start, and I'm sorry to see it go. For a while it seemed like HBO was doing away with almost all of my favorite shows. I knew Sopranos was on it's way out, I'd heard through the rumor mill that Big Love wasn't coming back (obviously an incorrect rumor, but it had me worried!), and they wrapped up Rome not too terribly long ago, which had quickly jumped to the number one spot on my list of fave shows. At least I don't think they'll be doing away with Entourage too soon. :D I can't go a week without my Ari fix! :)

I've only been watching for about 3 years, but I thought I would fall out of my chair when Tony killed Chrissy. I agree that the editing was extremely weird this season, particularly in the Las Vegas scenes where he was driving around and it was just jumping from place to place. And that was BEFORE they took the peyote! LOL!

DH is just glad they've moved past all the psychodrama from last season when Tony was having all those weird dreams while in the hospital. My favorite character is AJ, because I see him battling between his genetic drive to be violent and his slow awakening to the world around him where he can be sensitive and kind. I keep hoping he's going to be his father's downfall so he can finally stop the cycle.

Cindy this would be a fantastic plot twist to end the series also. ;)

You can see the wheels turning in AJ's head with all these violent creeps he is hanging around with...I would hate to see him follow in his father's footsteps....although he already is with the depression, anxiety, violent behavior and being aware of his conscience...clearly he is his "father's son". Hopefully the AJ character will rise above.

Dh and I watch it too, he got me hooked when it used to be on at 6am in the morning when I would nurse my son LOL We usually have to tape it and then watch it so we are a few episodes behind.

I can't believe Christopher is dead, I thought it would be Paulie because he seems to be annoying Toni.
