I'm here! Thanks Angel for the heads up! :) I had one of those nights where I didn't get to sleep until 5am so I'm sort of dragging right now. Time to get some caffeine in me! :lol

Let's see... I'll start with the questions....

1. Aside from scrapbooking, what creative outlets do you have?

I've always been the kind of person to crave something creative to do. I've tried just about every craft imaginable but scrapbooking is the only thing to really stick. When I want to do something more, I pull out my old paper supplies and work on creating some altered art. Photography is also a fabulous outlet for me. I get teased sometimes because I always have a camera (or two) with me but I'd be lost without them.

2. What is your favorite thing to wear?

If I'm going out, I like to wear something that is flattering on me. I don't dress up a lot so jeans and a nice shirt are pretty much my standard 'mom uniform'. At home, pajamas all the way! I love pajamas and if I could get by with it I'd wear them all day long. Besides scrapping supplies, pajamas are something I buy most often.

3. What is your least favorite household chore?

Can I just say 'all of them'? I really don't like to clean. I've always wanted to be a person who enjoys it since it is something that has to be done every day, afterall. I just don't like it though. This very moment though... I'd have to say changing diapers. My son just made the biggest mess for me. Yuck!

4. Share your "designer story". How did you get started?

I've dabbled in design pretty much since I started digi-scrapping. I mostly made things to use in my layouts. Every now and then there would be a challenge or something that I needed something for and instead of buying it, I'd make it.

In April of last year I joined a store CT. One of the things we did was to host chats and create posting prizes for those chats. That is when I really got interested in taking it further. I was working ahead for the month and created several little mini kits for my challenge prizes. I posted them in the CT forum and the store owner asked if I had ever thought about selling. I was really insecure about my work and didn't think it would be anything someone would buy but after some encouragement from her I decided to give it a shot. I've been selling my designs for nearly a year now and I love it. I see how my style has evolved and I like to be constantly changing and improving my skills.

5. Who is YOUR favorite designer right now?

Oh, I have a huge list. I'm very eclectic so I don't stick with just one designer but there are some who always seem to have something I can use. I love Shabby Princess' designs. Hers were among the first I ever saw as a digi-scrapper and I set my standards based on her kits.

I am blessed to be on some great CT's and there are two of them whose products seem to make it on almost every layout. Traci Reed and Jennifer Trippetti are both considered favorites of mine. Their stuff is sooo easy to scrap with.

Off to take my daughter to preschool! We are running totally late today. :spin

Sorry I haven't been around this thread much today. Its been a gorgeous, absolutely gorgeous day here in Kansas and I've had to spend some time outside. We built a pen for the turtle that my husband brought home for the kids the other day and we grilled steaks and then ate outside. It was fabulous!!
