For the past couple of days whenever I log on to DST I get bombarded with "An error has occurred in the script on this page" boxes that ask me if I "want to continue running scripts on this page." Like 20 of them, one right after another. Does anyone know what I need to do to fix this?

Thanks for listening.

I get the same dang thing on my work computer now, ever since the new look of this page. I'm fine at home, but at work it is driving me crazy! I can't come to the forum as much anymore because of this.

I get errors on all the pages here too since the change over. If you go to Tools- Internet Options - Security & click on the custom options and scroll down until you get to the 'scripting' section. One of the options there is probably set to 'prompt' instead of 'enable'. Change that setting and the prompts will go away. The page will still have a warning flag the bottom about the errors but you won't have to click through so many prompts.

Disclaimer - I've had all scripting enabled forever on my computer & have no virus/hacking/security issues. But I don't know ho unsecure it makes your computer by enabling scripts instead of asking for prompts. I just got sick of all the prompts on a couple work related sites one day & our IT staff told me what to change.

Thanks for the suggestions. I had already checked my internet options - security - custom settings for scripts and they were enabled. Not sure what else to do. It sure is annoying because I'm locked up as long as I have to keep clicking on the error box.

Does your internet browser support javascript? Most of them do and the site was designed with javascript I believe.

Shannon, I get this error on my work PC as well - seems to be something to do with the navigation bar (possibly the hover code?) as it'll regenerate itself every time my mouse goes over a button. I don't get it at home on Firefox, haven't tested in IE there to know if it's specific to the settings on this machine or if it's a general IE thing. I will do this tonight for you if you like.

BTW, for other people getting this - I disabled the script debug prompt (Tools > Internet Options > Advanced > Browsing > Disable Script Debugging) and it's gone now. Just an "Error on page" notice in the Status Bar that is very easy to ignore. :)

Thanks for more suggestions. My *disable script debugging (IE)* and *disable script debugging (other)* have both been checked the whole time. I'm still getting the popup error boxes.

I'm on High Speed AT&T Yahoo. I need to contact yahoo. Just haven't taken the time yet.

Unless Yahoo provides a customised browser like AOL does, your ISP should not affect this but a call can't hurt!

What version of IE are you on? I'm asking as I don't have the option to split debugging between IE and Other, I only have that for Install on Demand. If they've changed the debug routine between our versions, it could be explaining why you're still receiving the error. If it is the security settings, you could try adding the site to your trusted zone (if you haven't already) and see if it makes any difference?

I always get a Done, but with errors on page.
I don't see any, so I don't worry about it....
but I did go in and change to prompting.

Yes, I use SBC Yahoo browser. Also have latest version of Internet Explorer. Talked to SBC Yahoo support today. Don't get the errors with IE. I need to uninstall my yahoo browser and reinstall. We're leaving on vacation tomorrow morning so it won't get done until we get back. At least I figured out a solution. Thanks for your ideas.
